Under the vision and mission of our founder, Joel Quintanilla Amaya, we stand out as an organization committed to the comprehensive development and improvement of the quality of life for communities, families, and individuals in various levels of vulnerability. Our work is based on four key areas of project execution: health, education, social integration, and the environmental care.
Quintanilla Amaya Foundation is distinguished by its collaboration with diverse groups and partnerships with various organizations that seek transformative development in the populations where projects are implemented.
OUR FOUNDER
Mr. Joel Quintanilla Amaya holds higher education studies in theology and missions. He is a specialist in financial consulting and the restoration of bankrupt companies. Currently, he is pursuing a second degree in theology with a specialization in pastoral ministries, which focuses on a holistic approach that integrates social work and spirituality, an element considered by the WHO as a fundamental aspect of health.

OUR HISTORY
Fundación Quintanilla Amaya was born from the heart of a third-generation pastor’s son, inspired by his parents, who, despite lacking professional education, became philanthropists for the marginalized within their rural community.
The founder of the organization seeks to fulfill the basic needs of human beings, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, or social class. In a society where multidimensional poverty is the main challenge, our organization aims to bring transformation, starting with the way people think and ultimately changing the way they live.
From an early age, he worked to create community support networks, sharing the harvest from his land with his neighbors. In his adolescence, he began building his assets with the goal of serving others. Over time, as his social work gained stability, he decided to establish an organization that would provide comprehensive assistance and promote transformational and sustainable development.
This led to the creation of Fundación Quintanilla Amaya, a non-profit organization committed to extending support to those in need, fostering a culture of peace and inclusion based on biblical principles.
The Quintanilla Amaya Foundation aligns its work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to the 2030 Agenda, which aims to eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. Through our projects in health, education, social inclusion, and environmental care, we promote sustainable and integral development.
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
You can visit our facilities in El Salvador, where you can see our shelters and help each family in need, with basic supplies, basic grains, food, second-hand or new clothing, and items for personal use. Also, you can join us and contribute actively, participating in our volunteer program in any of our axes that are developed nationwide.
